I have been in the kitchen with my family since I was a toddler. The women of my family have always been skillfully talented with food, but there was one recipe that really stood out! My Grandma Adell's Home-made Pound Cakes. The first time that you take a it was like Adell  saying," I love you!".  My grandmother didn't pass the recipe out to everyone because, she felt that it was something special! She also wanted you to know "who's cake is boss!".
Unfortunately, Adell pasted away in 2005, but she will not be forgotten. Her recipes still live on in me and, I will make sure that more people can enjoy her love, through her cakes and other recipes.
